I’m Anjali Kumbhare, the person behind Anjali. I live in Nagpur with my son. 

Growing up in a traditional Indian family, I learned to cook good Indian food from my mother and our extended family of culinary experts.

After two decades of practical Indian cooking experience, I started this blog in 2025 to share my simple, quick, delicious, and healthy recipes.

The recipes on this blog are a glimpse into my life. As a mother and wife. I want delicious food that the whole family can enjoy.
I only share recipes that are good for your health and that my family has tried, tested, and loved. On the blog, you see what I cook for my loved ones-family and friends. 
I value my readers’ time above all else, so to avoid any confusion or mistakes, all recipes are well-written with step-by-step photos. I also share videos where necessary or possible.

Focus on Health

I’m a health and food enthusiast. I believe in a nutritious diet for a happy mind and a healthy body. That’s why you’ll find many whole grain recipes made with millet, quinoa, oats, and ragi that are suitable for people of all ages, even the elderly. 

I also teach healthy cooking methods for restaurant and street food, without harmful ingredients like artificial additives. I try to use as little refined flour and frying as possible.
